Empowering Communities Through Concession Skills and Training

We the People has always focused on enhancing economic, educational, and social opportunities for community residents while addressing issues like poverty and environmental degradation. Since 2009, our organization has provided the opportunity for our residents to engage in the entertainment field of concessions. Most major events like the New Orleans Saints games and the New Orleans Pelicans games we become concession stand preps and cashiers. This is where our volunteers learn how to cook food, prep food, serve food, sell food, and maintain a clean and safe environment while learning these skills. We the People has been one of groups that has had the highest amount of sales consistently. This is a fast paced setting where hospitality is stressed and enjoyment is fulfilled by the customers and our volunteers. We look forward to having you work with our group and become a team player for us.
